Tag & watch players

heliana doesn’t have a separate flagging feature. To mark a player — “Toxic,” “Verified,” a name you want to keep an eye on — you give them a tag from the Tags page. Every organization also starts with a built-in tag called watch, which is the closest thing to a watchlist: tag a player with it and they’re marked for your team without you having to set anything up first.

Tags are organization-wide: a tag you create is available across all your servers, and a player’s tags show up regardless of which server you’re viewing them from. A tag is never delivered to a server — it only labels the player inside heliana.

Two nearby features are separate, not kinds of tag:

• Access lists deliver access and capabilities to your servers. They have their own Access lists page — see Access lists & list leaders.
• Bans are applied on the server through the ban flow — see Ban a player.

Create a tag

1. Open Settings → Tags (organization-level, not inside a specific server) and click New tag.
2. In the New tag dialog:
   • Name — enter the label text, e.g. Toxic. It has to start with a letter or digit and may use only letters, digits, - and _, up to 32 characters — this is both the text shown wherever the tag is displayed and the token player.tags conditions match on, and it cannot be changed after the tag is created.
   • Color — pick one of the preset colors.

A tag has no capabilities, no slot limit and no server scope — the form doesn’t offer those fields, because they belong to access lists only.

Edit or delete a tag

1. On the Tags page, click Edit on the tag’s row.
2. Change the color and click Save. The name is fixed when the tag is created.
3. To remove the tag entirely, open the row’s menu (⋮), choose Delete and confirm — this permanently removes the tag and every player’s membership in it.

Tag a player

1. On the player’s page, open the Tags tab and click Add tag. The dropdown offers every tag the player doesn’t have yet — watch included.
2. Pick one. The player is tagged.

Access lists work the same way from the Access lists tab of the same page. Bans aren’t given here — see Ban a player.

Remove a tag from a player

1. On the player’s Tags tab, remove the tag.
2. Confirm in the prompt (“Remove tag?”). The tag comes off that player only; the tag itself stays available for everyone else.
