Plans and limits
How many servers an organization can run at once is its Servers entitlement. heliana has no plan tiers: the entitlement comes from up to three sources, and you get the largest of them, not their sum.

Only a running server takes a slot. A paused server costs nothing against the entitlement. The Servers entitlement card on Billing shows the result as Servers allowed and Servers in use (for example 3 / 4). An expired or revoked grant counts for nothing.
Free trial
Section titled “Free trial”Only the first organization your account creates starts with a trial, and only once: deleting that organization does not give the account a second trial, and a later organization begins on Billing instead. Billing shows Free trial with the days left while it runs and Trial ended afterwards. When it ends, the entitlement falls back to whatever the subscription or a grant gives, which may be nothing.
Subscribe
Section titled “Subscribe”Open Settings → Billing, set the number of servers in the Servers field, and click Subscribe. Checkout happens in Paddle. Only the organization’s Owner can manage billing; everyone else sees Only the organization owner can manage billing.
A subscription counts toward the entitlement while it is active, and also while a payment is overdue (past_due), because Paddle is still retrying the charge. A paused or canceled subscription gives nothing.
Change the number of servers
Section titled “Change the number of servers”On a live subscription, change the number in the Change servers field on Billing and click Change servers. The charge is prorated immediately. The new entitlement applies once Paddle confirms the change; until then the page shows Change requested — the allowance updates once Paddle confirms it.
A paused subscription cannot be changed: The subscription is paused — resume it to change the number of servers.
Manage subscription opens the Paddle customer portal. Use it for the payment method and for cancellation, not for the number of servers.
If a request fails, the page shows You already have a subscription, No active subscription or Billing is unavailable, try again later.
Automatic suspension
Section titled “Automatic suspension”When the entitlement falls below the number of running servers, for example because the trial ended or a subscription was canceled, heliana pauses the newest servers (by creation date) until the rest fit.
When the entitlement comes back, the servers that were paused this way resume on their own, oldest first. A server you paused yourself is never resumed automatically, and never paused by the entitlement either.
A server’s history, bans and settings are kept while it is paused.
