Patreon

Patreon is connected once for the whole organization and then routed to lists: you choose which Access lists each tier fills. Patrons are renewed and removed automatically by the sync.

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click Connect Patreon. The Patreon panel shows the Campaign, Status, Last sync and the campaign’s tiers, and flags Reconnect needed or Removed in Patreon when something needs attention. Sync runs the sync now.
  2. Open an Access list and tick its Patreon tiers. This needs the integration:manage permission.

A tier that is not ticked grants nothing to that list, and a tier ticked on no list grants nothing. A tier deleted in Patreon is marked Removed in Patreon and grants nothing either. A free tier grants nothing: it is not offered on Access lists, and a free tier that was routed before is removed from its lists on the next sync. To grant access, route a paid tier.

Disconnect removes every list entry that came from Patreon from all lists.

Each patron must click Connect Patreon in the Patreon card of their own Account page and connect Steam under Game accounts on the same page. Patrons without Steam save an EOS ID there instead, and you must verify that Game ID. Until both are done the patron is Not registered and receives no entries.

Patrons subscribe with Become a patron on your organization’s dashboard, which opens your Patreon campaign; the button appears once Patreon is connected.

A patron who connected the wrong Patreon account clicks Disconnect in the Patreon card of their Account page, signs out of patreon.com, and clicks Connect Patreon again. Until then the entries that came from Patreon are removed.

The Patrons page (under Access lists) shows Patron, Player and ID, Tiers, Lists, Paid until and Status. Statuses are Active, Not registered, Excluded and Former; choose Not registered in the select under the Status column header (it starts on All statuses) to find the patrons waiting for you.

Click a patron’s row to open the patron card (it shows Email, Tiers, Player ID, Lists and History, and Open in Patreon), then click Exclude to remove their entries from every list their tiers lead to and stop the sync from restoring them; Unexclude lifts it. The patron keeps paying, and refunds go through Patreon. This needs patron:manage. An entry that comes from Patreon cannot be deleted from a list — use Exclude instead.
